What a night!! This was definitely one of the most exciting nights we’ve seen to date.
There are a lot of people that believe the PDT format isn’t the best option. But we have always believed that our format allows ANYONE the opportunity to take home a prize. Tonight it was proven… and oh Lordy was it ever!!
James has been shooting darts for only 7 weeks. 5 of those weeks he has participated in the PDT sanctioned weekly tournament at Lefty’s Pub. This was a week to remember! At match 5 James was tied for first place with Ice. We all know how Ice shoots darts. It is firmly established that at this point in the evening James is really “on his darts.” But alas, the center stage was denied him as Ice pulled ahead to 1st place at match 7. The last 2 wins for James at the end of the evening took him to a tie for 2nd place.
This was a close one folks… an exciting evening for all.
“I was shocked at how far along James has improved in the last couple of weeks,” Ice commented. “It’s always good to watch a new darter find their confidence and mature in the sport.”
We have to agree with Ice.
For all of those that believe they haven’t got a prayer shooting in a tournament with some of the best – THINK AGAIN!! With the PDT format – ANYONE might win!!

Another small gathering at Lefty’s (9/3/9) and once again, Ice makes an appearance. With such a small crowd we did away with the usual “blind” format and gave everyone a chance to shoot with all other players as a partner until the very last match which we “splashed” to pick partners.
It was an interesting and Fun evening!! As we played through the evening we had the unexpected surprise of a “Poker Run” dropping in at Lefty’s. Among those Bikers were Ice’s brother-in-law, Jimmy and Jimmy’s daughter, Cherie. We luv your Bike, Jimmy!
The winners for the evening were: First Place: Ice; Second Place: Bas; and Third Place: Kriss.

The Opening of PDT’s first of SE Indiana’s Tournaments was hosted by Lefty’s Pub. This first gathering was small but will grow as more players become informed of this weekly tournament.
This tournament had a few surprises. The winners, pictured below are (from right to left): 1st place: Ron; 2nd place: Ice; 3rd place: Bas.
